Matcha green milk tea is a God send for those of us who can not tolerate a lot of caffeine. After my pregnancies, I became super sensitive to caffeine and could not drink coffee anymore. I would be way too wired. Jasmine milk tea, and cafe sua da are great sources of caffeine for me but matcha milk teas just hit differently. It gave me the perfect amount of caffeine with a creamy taste.
What is matcha?
Matcha green tea comes from the camelilia sinensis plant. Green tea, oolong tea, and black tea all come from this same plant. Matcha is a green tea but the way it is cultivated, grown, harvested, and produced differentiates it from all the other teas. Matcha comes from Japan and has been grown there for more than 900 years.
